CHALK CAMPUS TOUR 2014

If you've been following me on Instagram, you'll know how much I love Chalk Magazine.

I was one of the Bright Young Manila 2013 winners last year and ever since then, have constantly been contributing for the magazine. What's nice about Chalk is that aside from the quality content it offers to the readers, the editors behind the magazine are also some of the best people I've met in the industry! They're like family to me :)

That is why when ABS-CBN Marketing Department asked me to become one of the media partners for this year's BYM, I immediately agreed. I definitely would love to help Chalk spread their wonderful advocacy to the youth.

Cases

Last December, I purchased some gadgets from my own hard earned money for work and school/academic purposes :) 

I really thought hard and pondered for a long time if buying these would be worth it because I don't want to spend my money for luxury items I won't even going to use.

And yes they are indeed worth it! Especially with my academics!

With these gadgets, I get to save myself from carrying 10,000 kg heavy books and tower high handouts :) Plus, I don't need to bring my heavy laptop around for discussion powerpoints ;)

Of course, our beloved gadgets deserve to be pampered and protected so quality cases are must.

I had my last exam (Micro Economics) for 2012 last Tuesday. It was really hard and I just wanted to sleep the rest of the day (I still had a long week ahead since it was UP Diliman's Business Administration Week and as part of the College Student Council, we were the ones in charge of the series of events in celebration of our college week) but since the company behind this new line is close to my heart, I couldn't miss its launch and so, right after my exam, I rushed to Tomas Morato to attend the launching of Adore and Aqua Fresco Fragrances.

THE BIG EVENT

One of the major events of the UP Business Administration Council (UP BAC) the BIG EVENT: Live Your Business Dream is just around the corner. This flagship project of UP BAC will happen on September 24, 2012 at the UNILAB Bayanihan Center. It is composed of a sequence of talks by successful Filipino business pioneers, along with an entrepreneurial fair, that is geared towards inspiring the CBA student to pursue the path of business enterprise, thus creating future business leaders.

A series of teaser nights, which is hosted by the UP BAC in partnership with Gawad Kalinga Center for Social Innovation (GK-CSI) at the Enchanted Farm Café, is held building up to the event. The three teaser nights that took place last August were made possible by the different BA organizations that partnered with the BAC namely AIESEC, JMA, CE, JPIA. Filipino Entrepreneurs were invited to give a talk on social entrepreneurship and starting a business. Speakers such as Billy Santos and Karl Satinitigan of GK CSI, Jec Divinagracia of Doodletees, Marichris Sarino of Yabang Pinoy, Enrique Angeles of Go Motions Production, PJ Lanot of Pino Resto bar, Raf Dionisio of Offbeat Pursuits, Nika Kim of Punchdrunk Panda and Jean-Luc Velhelst of AIESEC Belgium talked their journey to the top and how they turned their passions into a business.
